Audition Workshops

Self-Tape Workshop with Melissa Paradice

Are you struggling with self taping theater auditions? This workshop, led by local Casting Director Melissa Paradice from Asylum Casting, will give you the opportunity to submit a self tape, and dissect the audition in person and learn what worked really well, where you could improve and tips on how to make the ENTIRE process easier on yourself.

While BATA is an in-person event, we're proud to offer this professional development opportunity to the community at large. There will also be time at the end of the workshop for general Q&A about BATA, the audition process, or self taping/auditioning in general.

Talent taking part in the workshop will be asked to submit a self tape of a 1-2 minute monologue prior to the workshop. We recommend using the piece you intend to audition for BATA with to gain the most from this experience.
