What: Inclusive STAGES™ is a theatre inclusion training and certification program. Designed specifically for arts leaders, it centers three pillars: psychologically safe creative space design, emotional intelligence, and trauma-informed well-being practices.
When: September 8th - November 3rd, 2025

SpeakEasy Artistic Fellowship (applications closed for 2025)
What: The SpeakEasy Fellowship is for theater administrators and artists looking to transition into the professional theatre world after graduation. Opportunities may include casting, script reading, community engagement, assistant directing, and more. This is a paid, part-time fellowship.
When: Program runs September-May, applications typically open mid-Spring.
Where: In-Person, SpeakEasy Office (BCA)

Shakespeare & Co Actor January Intensive (applications closed for 2025)
What: The goal of the January Intensive is to expand the actor’s vocal, physical, emotional, and imaginative responsiveness to language through Linklater voice work, and to apply it to the delights and demands of Shakespeare’s text.
When: December 28, 2024 - January 19, 2025 this past year, dates TBD for 2026
Where: Lenox, MA (Tuition includes housing & food)
Cost: $4,850 (Scholarships available)
For: Actors/Performers (mid-career performers)
Shakespeare & Co Actor Summer Intensive (applications closed for 2025)
What: The Summer Intensive is an opportunity for college theater students and emerging professional artists to immerse themselves in Shakespeare, six days a week for four weeks during our summer performance season.
When: Summer Intensive ran May 28 - June 22, 2025, dates TBD for 2026
Where: Lenox, MA (Tuition includes housing & food)
Cost: $5,850 (Scholarships available)
For: Actors/Performers(college students and recent graduates)
The CSC Apprentice Program (applications closed for 2025)
What: Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s apprentice program is a 7.5-week summer intensive that gives early career performers a rigorous tour of Shakespeare’s language in professional practice and performance. The program includes training by CSC’s faculty and artists in Shakespeare’s Text, Linklater Voice, Movement, and several specialized workshop series.
When: Summer, applications typically open in early Spring.
Where: In-Person, Boston
Cost: $3,950 (Tuition Scholarship & Work Study available)
For: Actors/Performers (targeted towards emerging actors)
