Authentic Casting Template

• What: This is an audition cover sheet that you can use to cast shows authentically while still respecting privacy and boundaries. It's particularly helpful while working with Transgender and Nonbinary actors. 

• For:  Directors   Producers   Stage Managers

Cast Info Questionnaire

• What: This is a google form template that you can use to collect cast information, such as access needs, allergies, and emergency contacts. 

• For:  Directors   Producers   Stage Managers

Dressing Room Questionnaire 

• What: Do you need to divide your dressing rooms by gender? Here is a questionnaire to pass on to your cast to help determine the best way to split up actors. This is particularly helpful if you have TGNC actors. Note: if you are under an Equity contract, you may need to reach out for a waiver. Reference contract section 55(A) (1) and (2).

Line Drawn Community Standards

• What: The Line Drawn Initiative works to prevent harassment and abuse in the New England performing arts community. By developing programs and resources specifically for the needs of the New England performing arts community, Line Drawn aims to create safer and more equitable work environments. 

• For:  All Theatre Artists

True & Safe Casting Form 

• What: This is a template of questions you can use if you are working with students. This has traditionally been used for showcases, but could also be adapted for any bespoke scene selection process. 

• For:  Directors  Educators
