Who: Boston Theater Company
What: Beyond Boundaries is the title of a play produced by Boston Theater Company's Education Program and created by playwright, director, and producer Lisa Rafferty. Featuring iconic characters and pivotal moments from A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, TWELFTH NIGHT, and MACBETH, this ensemble piece explores the boundaries of traditional gender roles via a mixture of comedy, pathos, and a touch of the supernatural—all grounded in the famous text of William Shakespeare. NOTE: This is a non-union project. Actors will be paid a stipend of $100/rehearsal and $75/performance.
When: Late March to early June.

What: The Boston Theatre Marathon is an annual Boston tradition featuring 10-minute plays from theatres all across the Greater Boston Area. The event is a benefit for the Theatre Community Benevolent Fund. Playwrights must be from New England.
When: The Boston Theatre Marathon will take place May 3, 2026

What: Boston Theater Company's Queer Voices Festival is a submission-based showcase of vibrant and diverse short plays, written by LGBTQ+ playwrights. This festival plays a vital role in promoting LGBTQ+ representation in the arts, and celebrates the diversity and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. This year's plays will be premiering as a part of Moonbox Productions' 2026 New Works Festival in May.
